Whilst 2020 was a challenging year for businesses across the world, Ogram found their adaptive and creative culture ensured that 2020 was still a success. Not just a success for investors, but a success for clients and service providers alike.

We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your unrelenting support throughout 2020. Here is an overview of what was achieved; and what can be expected in 2021.

Ogram’s Achievements Through 2020…

16k+ Shifts Covered

Ogram covered over 16,000 shifts for our clients from a range of industries including Hospitality, Retail, Logistics and Ecommerce. This included short notice assignments ensuring clients could continue to provide a smooth service with professional staffing.

AED 1.7Million Paid Out to Service Providers

Our Service Providers collectively received over AED 1.7million for the hours that they worked. Once hours were processed, all Service Providers were regularly and promptly paid into their nominated bank accounts.

4k+ Service Providers Registered

Over 4,000 Service Providers have been registered in 2020! At Ogram’s fingertips are skilled and professional staff who have been thoroughly pre-screened and vetted. These Service Providers are available to support businesses in short term or long term roles.

Service Provider App Launched

Embracing technological advancements, the Ogram App for Service Providers was launched. The Ogram App provides tools to facilitate the application and recruitment process. Whilst providing Service Providers with information on assignments and clients, the App also acts as a digital check-in and timesheet submission tool.

US$870,000 Raised in Pre-Series A (Equity) Round

In June 2020, Ogram announced that US$870,000 was raised in a Pre-Series A (Equity) round with Global Ventures. The investment has enabled Ogram to concentrate on their aim of becoming the first UAE player to provide a digital platform focussed on the on-site workforce.

Hope in Uncertain Times

We are proud that we have been able to back new Service Providers who found themselves losing their jobs due to the CoVID-19 pandemic. By working closely with HR professionals, we supported workers facing Outplacement by up-skilling them to fulfil part-time job opportunities, thus generating income and self-confidence.

What Do We Have to Look Forward To in 2021?

Ogram Client App

In 2021, we will be launching the Ogram App for clients. Designed as a staffing marketplace, the Ogram App will enable clients to review, book and manage part-time staff on demand.

The tools provided are easy to manage thus simplifying the hiring, management and administrative processes required for part-time staff. Additionally, it will ensure that clients have complete control over their hired staff and shifts.

In an increasingly digital world, further accelerated by 2020’s pandemic, the Ogram App ensures that clients can continue to work and plug unexpected gaps whilst on the go.

More information on the 2021 Ogram App for clients launch will be released soon…

Final Note

CoVID-19 forced the hand of business and workers alike to review and streamline how they work and play. The challenge for many has been change. Ogram quickly adapted to embrace that change and harness it to aid growth and development.

Ogram is seeing a huge shift of attitudes in both clients and Service Providers to part-time staffing and working. The benefits and value in hiring flexible temporary workers are increasingly being recognised and are being incorporated in business recovery plans for 2021.

Ogram will continue to provide a consultative and professional service to their clients, inviting and leading discourse on how we can further support staffing solutions for the 2020’s and beyond.
